The scrapped metal sonic appearance in sonic 2 proto!

During the Sonic 2 development, metal sonic was supposd to come back in the game because robotnik rebuilt him after cd but it got scrapped for silver sonic in death egg!

ok so my theory is that in the earlly verson of game. robotnik rebuild metal after he got destoryed in sonc cd! accrding to to the photoos metal would have appeared during chemical pant zone and evey other zone after tht. he would attack snic if he got too close. he woud last appear in Metropolis zone then come back in deth egg as a battl! and devlopers removed him becuz metal sonic wold sometimes make the level glitch out when he spawned in! and know there only photo of it, maybe someday i find a vido and post it here! cool theory -my friend zane
